Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse (MA/LPN)We are seeking a dedicated MA/LPN to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, assisting healthcare providers, preparing and maintaining examination and treatment rooms, and ensuring that all equipment is clean. The role may also involve answering phones and handling administrative tasks. You will be expected to room up to 25 patients per day.ResponsibilitiesRoom patients efficiently and effectively.Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.Clean and sterilize equipment according to protocols.Answer phones and handle administrative duties as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in rooming and charting.Experience in medical assisting.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials.Medical Assistant Diploma with the ability to transition to a permanent role.Graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited MA program or completion of a state-approved LPN program.Up-to-date licensure with the Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Proficiency in using EHR systems and basic computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Work EnvironmentThis role will primarily be based in Urology Clinics located in St. Louis Park, with potential opportunities to work in Maple Grove or Burnsville, depending on scheduling preferences. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with working hours from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM in St. Louis Park, and from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM in both Burnsville and Maple Grove. The work environment is dynamic, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet patient care needs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis Park, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
