The company is financially supported by a strong family office and is uniquely positioned through its affiliated development team to self-develop projects and partner with developers to advance modular construction technologies.Position SummaryThe General Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company facilities, grounds, tools, and production support equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all team members.ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain hand and power tools used in production areasPerform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systemsConduct routine inspections of facility systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systemsAssist with facility and equipment repairs as neededMaintain exterior grounds, including mowing, snow removal, and general upkeepMonitor and maintain inventory of replacement parts, maintenance supplies, and toolsDrive to local vendors and suppliers to pick up materials or partsCommunicate maintenance activities and repair needs to the Maintenance ManagerFollow all company safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordWorking knowledge of hand tools, power tools, machinery, and maintenance equipmentBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, or welding preferredWillingness to learn operation of forklifts, scissor lifts, skid loaders, and boom liftsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentReliable attendance and strong organizational skillsPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in indoor and outdoor environmentsAbility to work safely around manufacturing equipment and moving machineryExposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and weather conditions may occurThe salary range for this role is $25 – $28(hourly). Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Rise Modular’s Total Rewards package for employees.
