Administrative Assistant Location: [Plano, TX Onsite] Position Type: 12 + month contract to (hire + multi-extension capability) Rate: 37.00 /hr. W2 Position Summary We are seeking an organized, proactive, and collaborative Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative, operational, and clerical support to our team. In this role, you will act as a central information and communication manager for the office—conducting research, handling information requests, and ensuring daily operations run seamlessly. Key ResponsibilitiesCommunication & Information Management: Perform professional word processing, research data, and prepare clear internal memos, status reports, correspondence, contracts, and presentations.Meeting & Travel Logistics: Schedule and plan meetings, manage complex calendars, book conference rooms, arrange travel/accommodations, and set up daily or weekly recurring video conference calls for the management team.Budget & Expense Coordination: Prepare expense reports, coordinate team budgets (including travel and entertainment expenses), and assist with the reconciliation and tracking of budget items.Office & Event Operations: Handle day-to-day office support duties including mailings, shipping/packaging, copying, printing, space planning, and maintaining office equipment. Assist with event planning, including scheduling, catering coordination, setup, and breakdown.Inventory & Asset Tracking: Place inventory requests for devices and hardware as needed. Assist with ordering, tracking, and coordinating new-hire equipment to ensure timely delivery. Key Skills & Core CompetenciesTechnical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of the basic Windows OS environment and standard Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data tracking and spreadsheet management).Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience researching information and packaging it clearly for team visibility.Administrative Execution: Proven experience managing office logistics, tracking details, and maintaining organized workflows.
