The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization's network security posture. This role focuses on the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security technologies including firewalls, endpoint protection solutions, and VPNs. The Cyber Security Engineer builds on foundational cybersecurity skills, demonstrating proficiency in network security concepts and tools, while continuing to develop advanced technical and analytical capabilities. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning within a dynamic security environment.Position Compensation Range:$80,000.00 - $131,000.00Pay Rate Type:SalaryCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.This position is able to accept candidates who cantransfer a valid, current H-1B visa. Candidates must have ongoing authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring F-1/OPT/STEM-related sponsorship.Primary AccountabilitiesParticipates in the development, integration, and testing of cyber productsParticipate in the research, engineering, and integration new security solutionsParticipates in the development and maintenance of the security systems and solutionsBuilds strong relationships with peers across functions through collaborative engineering operations and initiativesParticipate in the design, and implementation of automated solutions to enable security needsManages, analyzes and responds to the changing system and data access needs of the company and our clients with agility and flexibilitySpecialized Knowledge & Skills RequirementsBasic understanding of network security principles, protocols, and architecturesFamiliarity with Palo Alto firewall configuration, management, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with endpoint protection platforms Knowledge of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutionsAwareness of threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response processesBasic understanding of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)Ability to implement and enforce security policies and proceduresStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaborating with team membersAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environmentLicenses:*Not Applicable.Travel Requirements*Up to 10%.Physical Requirements*Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.Working Conditions*Not Applicable.Additional InformationOffer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checksOffer to selected candidate is contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventionsSponsorship will not be considered for this position unless specified in the postingWe provide benefits that support your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
