CVOR CST Position/Specialty: CVOR CST On Call Requirement: Will take call at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need OT Days each week Years of Experience req: 2 year(s). Must have Level 1 Trauma Experience RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking. Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Accept First-Time Travelers: No Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria. Pending CST Certification accepted? No. Must have CST through NBSTSA Required Certifications: BLS # of CVOR Cases: Average of 3 hearts/day Summary of Cases Required to Scrub: Required cardiovascular procedures include Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atherectomy, ASD repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, ECMO, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, and VAD management. Experience in CVOR and First Assist roles is also required. Floating: Yes. Floating required per Prisma Health policy. Staff may float to other units/campuses based on census and only to units they are qualified for and trained in. Float to the Main OR if CVOR volume is low.
