Speech Language Pathologist Location: Bakersfield, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,642 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech Pathologist Profession: Speech Pathologist Specialty: Speech Pathologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift - M-F Hours per Shift: 8 hours, with start time around 8 am or 8:30 am Experience: Two years' speech language pathology experience preferred License: Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required Must-Have: American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Description: Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Reviews patient information before evaluations and during the course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
