Role DescriptionSurplus Breakers & Motor Control, Inc. is looking for a few Sales & Marketing Representatives to work on site in the San Marcos, CA area who will promote the company's products and services to existing and prospective customers - this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a winning team with a nationwide customer base. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards of professionalism, be energetic and enthusiastic with excellent communications skills and strong desire to provide customers with the best experience possible. A positive attitude along with being comfortable making and receiving calls, working with channels partners and collaborating closely with rest of team is a must as well as being receptive to feedback with a strong ability to take accountability and initiative to prioritize daily tasks assigned by management to ensure your success in this role. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with sales or marketing representatives to fully understand product and communications needs. Understand and analyze past and current marketing campaigns, competition, and customer profiles to determine and execute the most effective communication technique.Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails and follow-ups.Generate interest, qualify prospects and close sales. Provide customer service and manage customer expectations by ensuring commitments are met. Develop and maintain lasting relationships and expand database of customers and prospects.Work alongside rest of team to provide quotes and customer service to customers and prospects.Provide daily or weekly progress reports as requested by management on tasks being performed along with customer feedback and market findings. Assist in Marketing Campaigns and create company literature such as brochures, line cards, etc. Provide additional office support and perform other duties as needed. QualificationsCollege education.Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong phone presence and charisma. Culture is key - Positive, selfless attitude is a must.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task and be reliable. Proficient with corporate productivity and manage time effectively with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Being receptive to feedback with a strong ability to take accountability and initiative.
