Responsible for coordinating a patient's overall health care by communicating with specialists who provide more advanced treatments.HighlightsReport to clinical leadershipValue-Based Care ModelOver 20 clinic locations in Texas100% outpatient primary care clinic setting seeing patients 18+Dedicated Medical Assistant and additional clinic support teamMonday – Friday schedule (some clinics have extended hours)Limited Call (compensated)Telehealth available for patientsGuaranteed base salary with annual bonus programMonthly compensation for supervising nurse practitionersCME hours annually401K with company matchingPaid Time OffSign-On Bonus eligibleDuties and ResponsibilitiesProviding high-quality healthcare to patients, including listening to and properly diagnosing patients' medical concerns and ailmentsConducting initial assessments of patients to learn about their medical history, their health goals, and any potential health risksProvide diagnostic and therapeutic services for acute and chronic conditionsOrdering lab tests and imaging studies, prescribing medications, and providing other treatment modalities such as physical therapy or massage therapyDiagnosing illnesses through physical examinations, medical tests, and analysis of patient historiesPrescribe medications, treatments, diets, or other care plans to maintain health or alleviate symptoms of disease or injuryMay supervise nurse practitioner(s) - additional monthly pay per direct reportRefer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatmentPunctually arrives to the clinic to ensure that patients are seen at scheduled appointment times.Education and Experience:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required.Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.Practicing physician in a clinic or urgent care setting, with supervision experience.Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred.Certifications & Licenses:A state license to practice medicine in Texas.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome and employ a diverse employee group committed to meeting the needs of NeueHealth, our consumers, and the communities we serve.
