Application Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Analyst with geoscience domain experience to work with global development teams from Europe, Canada, and the US. You will be involved in ensuring software quality, reliability, and user satisfaction throughout the entire development process, from initial planning through deployment and post-delivery support to the client. You will collaborate closely with all members of the Agile development team to ultimately deliver a low-risk, high-quality software solutions.Important Information Experience: +7 yearsJob Mode: Full-timeWork Mode: RemoteID: 19518Responsibilities and DutiesEstimation of software testing efforts based on technical specificationsProviding input to improve product effectiveness, integration and usabilityCreating, documenting and executing software tests for the acceptance of new feature functionalityExecution and management of the manual regression test suiteIdentification of software defects and usability issues in the development and stability cycles of the softwareValidating defect fixesManaging the automation backlog for the product; working with automation engineers to improve auto test coverageCreating synthetic data and organizing client project data within the OpenWorks/Oracle databaseDesigning and executing tests which measure the performance of the software given varying hardware specificationsMeasuring and reporting stability of the product via test suite results and defect inflow/outflowIdentifying and escalating project risksQualifications and SkillsHands‑on experience using Agentic AI to accelerate productivity.Background in Geology, Geosciences or Geophysics is a mustProficient with both Windows and Linux platformsMust be self‑motivated but able to work well in a distributed team environmentTeam player: willing to coach junior team members and cooperate on cross‑functional problem solvingGood written and verbal skillsDesired ExperiencePrevious experience with Landmark’s suite of productsKnowledge of Azure DevOps for defect reporting and test case creation/executionOpenWorks/Oracle project data managementFamiliarity with CI/CD principles and tools technologies, i.e. GitLabSoftware development experienceWorking in an Agile development environmentHands‑on experience using automation tools for quality assuranceAbout Encora Encora is a global company that offers Software and Digital Engineering solutions.
