M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts.Our strong remanufacturing roots combined with our 41 branch locations, a nationwide outside sales team of 25 and our close OEM & Manufacturer partnerships make us unique in the industry – no one understands diesel engine failure analysis and parts better than M&D. WE FUEL UPTIME.The primary responsibilities of this role are related to Core Handling. Additionally, the person selected for this position will have Warehouse responsibilities assigned, as described below.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Review credited core reportConfirm correct part numbers for each coreConfirm core is tagged correctlyPlace cores in assigned bin Pull, box, and ship cores to theappropriate M&DlocationLoading and unloading transport trucks using forklift, hydraulic lift, and dollyStock receiving - Verifying parts/part numbers and proper count receivedInventory stocking – placing parts in the proper warehouse locationOrder pulling product from warehouse for production, sales staff, and customersKeeping the warehouse and parts department clean and orderlyPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)High school diploma or equivalent isrequired.1 year experience inlogistics, warehousing or similarAbility to perform math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)Ability to exercise judgement and to work independentlyMustdemonstrateconsistency, accuracy, and follow-throughKnowledge of cores related to diesel engine parts preferredWillingness to be trained and certified toutilizeforklift equipmentComputer literacy with the ability to learn new software programsAbility to move, lift, and carry objects up to 50lbsAbility to continuously repeat motions Follow all safety policiesSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screeningFosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environmentPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
