Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Locum Interventional Cardiologist OpportunitySeeking Interventional Cardiologists to join its locum coverage pool beginning in early 2026. This opportunity focuses on inpatient call coverage serving an adult patient population within a collaborative cardiology team. Position Details:* Coverage need of approximately 3 7 days per month * Inpatient and EMTALA call coverage only; no outpatient clinic responsibilities * Work alongside two interventional cardiologists with additional specialty support available during coverage * Provide comprehensive cardiology call coverage for the hospital * Perform general cardiology consults as needed * Interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (including nuclear stress testing) * Documentation completed using Epic Cupid EMRRequired Procedures:* Balloon angioplasty * Coronary angioplasty * Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) * Cardiac catheterization * Coronary angiogramsRequirements:* Board Certified in Cardiology * Active Kentucky medical license and DEA registration (IMLC candidates considered with consistent availability) * ACLS certification * Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation * COVID vaccination preferredby Jobble
