Procurement Manager / Inventory Manager

About Us Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) dedicated to expanding affordable, high-speed internet in underserved communities. As we grow our fiber and fixed wireless infrastructure, we are seeking a Procurement & Inventory Manager to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and material readiness for our broadband projects. Responsibilities Source materials, equipment, and subcontractor services needed for broadband construction and operations Negotiate vendor contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and efficiency Track inventory levels, lead times, and material readiness to prevent project delays Maintain procurement logs, purchase orders, and vendor records for compliance and transparency Coordinate with project managers, construction supervisors, and finance teams to align procurement with schedules and budgets Ensure all procurement activities comply with grant funding, prevailing wage, and reporting requirements Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to field crews and subcontractors Monitor vendor performance, resolving delivery or quality issues promptly Support audits and reporting requirements by maintaining accurate procurement and inventory records Qualifications 3+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain (construction or telecom preferred) Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Familiarity with grant compliance and reporting preferred Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $28.96 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
