DutiesOpens and unpacks cartons of materials and removes contents. Moves or uses hand truck to move various items requiring delivery or storage. Sets up and breaks down multi-functional areas. Arranges mobile furniture, movable walls, light equipment, etc.Polices assigned areas, collects and disposes of trash and debris, cuts grass and pulls weeds, waters grass and flower beds, spreads mulch, and rakes leaves.Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs and waxes floors. Uses industrial household cleaners to clean, disinfect and deodorize windows, mirrors, fixtures, and facilities. Replenishes supplies as necessary.Reports facility condition to supervisor including the need for repairs. Dusts and polishes furniture. Empties trash.Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsConditions of employmentDirect Deposit and Social Security Card is required.Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.A one-year probationary period may be required.Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.Requires light to moderate lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally 45 pounds. Required to stand, walk, bend and kneel for lengthy periods of time.Required to follow safety procedures and use standard safety equipment such as gloves, ear protectors, and safety glasses to avoid possible hazards in the work area.Must be able to work vary/rotating shifts that include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.Must be able to frequently lift and carry moderate objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 45 pounds.Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.Works indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to adverse weather conditions when working outdoors. Exposed to drafts, noise, dust and dirt.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Skill and knowledge to safely operate and perform routine maintenance on hand tools and equipment (rake, pitch folk, wheelbarrow, hand-pump sprayer, hand truck, shovel, push lawn mower, hammer, screwdriver, wrench, pliers). FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays.
