This role is critical to ensuring inventory integrity, audit readiness, and operational excellence in a fast-paced e-commerce environment influenced by global market volatility.This individual will develop inventory risk and control policies, enhance and monitor cycle count programs, audit inventory processes for compliance and maintain and update standard operating procedures while also leading special projects cross functionally to ensure secure, accurate, and optimized inventory levels.The day in the life of an Inventory Control Analyst...Inventory Strategy & PlanningDevelop and execute inventory strategies aligned with business goals, market demand, and precious metals volatilityInventory Accuracy & ControlOwn inventory accuracy across all locations, including vault, secured storage, and active pick locationsEstablish and enforce cycle count programs, reconciliation standards, and adjustment controlsReview, approve, and document high-impact inventory adjustments and write-offsEnsure strict adherence to chain-of-custody, security, and compliance requirementsSupport internal and external audits with complete documentation and explanationsKPIs, Reporting & AnalysisDevelop clear KPIs and accountability for inventory accuracy and audit resultsOwn and report inventory KPIs including accuracy %, shrink/swell, turns, aging, variances, and audit performancePartner with Risk and Controller functions to support inventory valuation, COGS accuracy, and audit requirementsUse data and trend analysis to drive corrective actions and process improvementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Vault Operations and Security to maintain secure handling of precious metalsCollaborate with Warehouse Operations to ensure inventory processes support fulfillment speed and accuracySystems & Process ImprovementOwn inventory-related workflows within the ERP environmentIdentify opportunities to improve system controls, reporting, and transaction accuracyLead or support inventory-related projects and system enhancementsQualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in operations, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain or related field (or 4 or more years of equivalent experience)Experience4 or more years of experience in Operations, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain or related field requiredExperience supporting financial and operational audits requiredExperience using inventory KPIs and dashboards (eg.
