Job Description
The Assembler role involves precise assembly tasks within a clean-room environment, primarily supporting the medical device industry. This position includes inspecting, testing, and occasional microscope work, as well as packaging and boxing. Cross-training opportunities are available, and candidates with soldering and microscope experience are preferred. Candidates must adhere to strict safety and cleanliness protocols, including gowning up with hair nets, beard nets, shoe covers, and safety glasses. The role requires operation of electrical torch drivers and screwdrivers and demands attention to quality and compliance in a controlled setting.Responsibilities
Perform clean-room assembly of medical devices following strict protocols
Inspect and test components accurately, using microscope as needed
Package and box finished products ensuring compliance with quality standards
Operate electrical torch drivers and screwdrivers safely and effectively
Maintain gowning and safety procedures at all times
Participate in cross-training to support various assembly functionsRequired Qualifications
High school diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications
1 to 3 years of entry-level experience in medical device assembly
Familiarity with clean-room procedures and environment
Experience with soldering and microscope operation
Proficient in assembly, packaging, electrical torch operation, and screw driving
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Understanding of FDA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP compliance
