Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a tenure track Associate/Full Professor with an extramurally funded, independent, primarily wet bench-based research program in the area of pulmonary biology.- Research areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, airway biology, asthma, sepsis and acute lung injury, lung immunity, pulmonary vascular biology, stem cell biology, or lung cancer.- The successful candidate will have a visionary research program that synergizes with existing research programs- Join a vibrant research community including basic and clinician scientists- The faculty member?s research program will be located in newly-constructed state-of-the-art research space.- Offers a generous seed package. Faculty efforts are fully focused on research; teaching opportunities may be available.- The ideal candidate will have an PhD, MD PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree. Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor (Tenure) will be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
