Accounts Receivable Accountant

$50-60 per hour commensurate with experienceWhy This Opportunity Stands OutDirect impact on a $100M+ cash flow operation across a diverse real estate portfolioHigh-visibility role coordinating with executive leadership, legal, leasing, and AR teamsOpportunity to leverage and expand expertise in multi-entity real estate cash management and advanced AR analyticsStructured but dynamic hybrid environment supporting both independent contributors and team playersKey Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable AccountantOversee the end-to-end billing and accounts receivable cycle for multi-property commercial and event-based revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and timely payment processingManage and post complex cash transactions (including direct wires, online payments via ClickPay, and event receipts) for $100M+ annual flowPartner with accounting team to prepare, analyze, and consolidate company-wide cash flow statements and reporting in Excel and MRICoordinate collections activities, supporting reporting and tenant follow-up communications, and collaborating with delinquency management teamsEnd of month tie-out activities such as GL / Revenue/ OccupancyQualifications:3+ years of accounts receivable experience in a real estate environment, handling multiple properties/streamsProficiency with advanced Excel functions (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience consolidating data from multiple sourcesProven ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional internal stakeholders and adapt to evolving processesLocation & ScheduleBrooklyn, NY – Hybrid Schedule; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday on site, Monday and Friday remote following on site training period #INMAY2026
