Position Title: Senior Data Engineer (Data Modeling / SQL / Python / Spark)

Location: Rutherford, NJ

Job Type: Hybrid – 3 days to office & 2 days remote

Pay Range: Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Data Modeling / SQL / Python / Spark) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, SQL, Python, Spark, and data warehouse/data lake engineering and a proven ability to design scalable pipelines, optimize performance and quality, and enable analytics and AI/ML outcomes.

Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable data solutions and pipelines. Create and maintain logical and physical data models. Develop Python- and Spark-based data processing frameworks. Optimize data performance, quality, and governance. Partner with application and business teams on data requirements. Support AI/ML and analytics initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Data modeling across conceptual, logical, and physical layers. Advanced SQL for data warehousing and analytics. Proficiency in Python for data engineering. Hands-on experience with Spark for large-scale processing. Experience with data warehouse and data lake architectures.

Preferred Skills: GenAI and machine learning exposure. Google ADK and other cloud platform services. ETL framework design and orchestration.
