How does candidate fit into this? “Data Operations” team but they are the DevOps team because they are already having a DevOps team The team is a traditional DevOps team with a few differences. Doesn’t have a lot of developers on the overall team. With this responsibility they need someone very technical. Doesn’t need a lot of data experience but they do need to know how infra is set up on-prem and in the cloud, change control with SOX compliance, Windows and Linux environment, SQL, data warehouse. Hybrid cloud environment. On-prem data and VPC in the cloud. Preference he wants is AWS – lambda, transfer, S3. Selling Points for Candidates: Opportunity to work with a large modern tech stack Part of new data ops team, working to build it out What are the top 3 MUST HAVE technologies or Required experience for the position? AWS Linux Familiarity with scripting – Bash, Shell, Python*, PowerShell* NICE TO HAVES (OR WHAT GETS THE WIN)? Will need to be comfortable working in the type of environment. Database side 25% DBA, modify tables, change tables – some basic familiarity is needed – Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake Bash or Python Stream – CDC tool or Attunity or any other tool would be great. Technical Environment: Snowflake/AWS, Linux/Windows and AWS Required Skills: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Linux Familiarity with scripting – Bash, Shell, Python*, PowerShell* Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Notes: 1 and done interview on 1/19 and 1/20 between 1-3pm EST.
