Now Representing: Full-Time Private Chef — Atherton, CA (Live-Out) Hearth & Table Private Staffing is pleased to represent a warm, down-to-earth family of five in Atherton in their search for a full-time, live-out private chef. Our client views food as the fuel for family life and is seeking a collaborative culinary partner — someone who loves sourcing thoughtfully, cooking seasonally, and building a menu rotation together over time. The Position- Full-time, live-out; approximately 40 hours per week- Schedule: Monday–Friday, roughly 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM- Lunch (prepared and put away) and dinner (typically family-style with the children between 5–6 PM; occasionally plated)- Light breakfast prep welcomed; no morning service required- Occasional weekend meals prepared in advance- 2–4 relaxed, family-style dinner parties per month The Household- Two adults, two children; kids eat what the adults eat- Cuisine direction: healthy, fresh, seasonal Californian and European; organic whenever possible- Dietary: principal (wife) is gluten free and requires strict avoidance of cross-contamination; principal (husband) does not eat lemon, lime, or orange Candidate Profile- Professional background in a private estate and/or restaurant setting; Michelin experience a plus- Confident gluten-free practice and thoughtful sourcing- Kitchen management experience (inventory, ordering, budgeting)- Fluent English; warm, discreet, and collaborative- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Requirements- US citizenship or valid US work authorization- Successful background check, signed NDA, and paid trial period Compensation- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, full benefits, and paid time off Start Date: As soon as possible.
