Executive Assistant to the District Superintendent and Clerk of the Board
Reports To: District SuperintendentLocation: The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Regional Education Center, Auburn NYJob ObjectiveThe position serves as a strategic and operational partner to the District Superintendent/CEO, responsible for managing high-level administrative functions, coordinating complex work, and ensuring the effective flow of information, time, and priorities across the organization. An employee in this class is responsible for the performance of complex, confidential, and detail-critical work that directly supports executive decision-making and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include managing executive-level communications and scheduling, coordinating initiatives across internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of key priorities.Work is performed with a high degree of independence, judgment, and discretion, often in situations requiring prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making without direct supervision. The role requires the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing demands, and maintain accuracy and composure in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.The position may provide direction to clerical staff and is expected to contribute to the development and improvement of systems and processes that enhance efficiency and organizational performance.
