Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Health Care Systems seeks to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to directly work with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. The position includes both the OR and the clinic. This is a very busy sports practice that has a strong focus on shoulders and knees and sees a strong volume of Athletes. Responsibilities include: first assist, running clinics, pre- and post-operative H&P s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. There is no ER call for this position. Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified, and have some orthopedic experience but will train a new graduate with an orthopedic rotation and any of the following background; ATC, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Ortho Tech. etc. The location is in Bozeman, Montana. The area provides all year- round outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, hunting, mountain biking etc. Very competitive compensation plan and a full benefits package is provided.
