This requires the ability to work from prints and instructions as well as use mechanical aptitude to create solutions. During the season, servicing and repairing airport equipment. This position is also responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience.ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble various truck components to specification per customer requirements.Install and/or maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned projects and builds.Conduct repairs on heavy equipment ranging from hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or programming issuesPerform inspections and conduct preventative maintenance servicesMaintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return working operation of truck components.QualificationsGED/High School Diploma or Experience.Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet time deadlinesAbility to use Crane and hoists.Ability to use power tools and machinery.Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).Welding, Hydraulic and Electrical Experience (Preferred).
