Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, operate a cash register, and assist with food and beverage orders. Duties - Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and efficient manner - Operate a cash register and process payments - Manage cash and credit transactions - Assist with food and beverage orders and ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly - Maintain a clean and organized dining area - Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer complaints - Follow all food safety and handling procedures - Utilize a point-of-sale system (Aloha POS) to process orders and manage inventory - Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner - Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels - Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment - Provide support to other servers and staff as needed - Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all tasks Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods - Excellent customer service skills - Basic math skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively - Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures - Familiarity with a cash register and basic accounting principles - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Basic knowledge of the culinary industry and food preparation - Ability to help with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels - Ability to work in a grocery store environment - Ability to help with food handling and preparation - Experience with the Aloha POS system is a plus.
