You’ll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. Get ready to help us show our best right when guests first show up! You will supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors and perform the job duties you’re supervising in our Amenities areas such as:Delivering the highest level of Guest ServiceReservation & Cabana Check-In AreaCabanas & Premium LoungersGroup and special eventsTrack labor, including daily scheduling and break managementOversee opening and closing proceduresMaintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animalsDevelop team members through training, feedback and coachingEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and policiesCreate and maintain team rotation gridRespond to guest and team member needsReport project status to Supervisors and ManagersEnsure strict adherence to all cash handling procedureWhat it takes to succeed:During peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidaysDuring the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidaysAt least 18 years oldValid state driver’s licenseAbility to complete CPR/AED training/certificationAbility to be certified on all attractionsOutstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and professional during challenging situationsComputer proficiency with MS OfficeComfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systemsAbility to train on and use protective gearFlexibility in working varied hoursRelated Bachelor’s degree preferredPrevious leadership experience highly desirable The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveaways EEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
