We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dietary Cook to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of those we serve.Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. As a Dietary Cook , you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that meet the dietary and nutritional requirements of our residents in a long-term care facility. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure timely and accurate meal service, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and adhere to sanitation and safety regulations.Responsibilities:Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelinesAdhere to residents' dietary restrictions, preferences, and special requestsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsAssist in planning menus and food preparation schedulesMonitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the supervisorCollaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely and accurate meal serviceMaintain records of food preparation, temperatures, and waste as requiredQualifications:Previous experience as a Dietary Cook in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferredKnowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and dietary requirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfactionCertification in Food Safety or Serv Safe preferred (or willingness to obtain)If you are a passionate and skilled Dietary Cook who is committed to providing exceptional care and service, please apply to join our team at Aspire Senior Living Roaring River.
