MECHANIC - Heavy Construction Equipment

Job Description Salary:RPM Construction Corp located in Frederick MD is looking for a Mechanic - Heavy Construction Equipment with a minimum of 4 years working experience. The Mechanic will be required to perform skilled work in the mechanical servicing of rough terrain forklifts, manlifts, skytrack equipment and the maintenance and repair of the Company's fleet of trucks and other heavy duty construction equipment.Requirements:Strong knowledge of hydraulics, heavy equipment maintenance, diagnostic and repair techniques sufficient to perform installation, repair and maintenance on light, medium and heavy equipment.Heavy equipment repair tools and rebuilding equipment sufficient to make correct and safe use of these in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment.Metal welding and cutting, forming and tempering sufficient to repair equipment to good working order.Must understand and follow oral and written instructions sufficient to carry out repair orders and understand maintenance records and equipment specifications. Keep repair records sufficient to log, track and retrieve repair and maintenance histories on equipment.Building maintenance as required/directed. Must maintain a clean and orderly work environment while performing primarily basic PM services such as oil changes, inspections to cooling, fuel, hydraulic, exhaust and electrical systems in heavy duty equipment, including trucks, general construction equipment small engine repairs and vehicles.Order parts and supplies necessary for assigned maintenance and repair work.Operate company vehicles in a professional and safe manner.CDL Class A license preferred.All other duties as assigned by Management.Compensation:Will be discussed at interview.The Company offers solid benefits including 401K, and paid vacation.Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Some flexibility will be required to accommodate duties outside of work hours from time to time.
