Senior Unified Communication Engineer
Position Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.
ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
NCC is seeking candidates for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to provide direct technical direction and analysis for telecommunication activities including planning, designing, configuring, integrating, installing, and maintaining voice, video, and data telecommunications/communications networks and services with computer systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical/management leadership on technology assignments
Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives
Provide strategic and technical guidance to program and project staff
Analyze network performance, usage, and traffic flows, accesses and interfaces, transmission techniques, and protocols
Provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
Partner with client to define need and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to recommend solutions
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Active Top Secret security clearance REQUIRED, and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI CI Polygraph.
BA/BS in related field with 10+ years of Unified Communications experience.
Proven decision making abilities
Expert knowledge of telecommunication systems, networks, etc.
Demonstrated strict attention to detail
Ability and willingness to collaborate with all levels of the organization
Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
Effective delegation skills
