Construction Project Manager- Arizona

Join our team as a Construction Project Manager at our Phoenix, AZ Office! Are you energized by seeing complex projects come to life from plans on paper to thriving communities? Gorman & Company is a nationally recognized affordable housing developer with vertically integrated development, architecture, construction, and property management operations, and we're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large multifamily developments from planning through completion. In this role, you'll own schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder communication while helping create impactful affordable housing communities and historic rehabilitation projects across the country. What You'll Do Manage all phases of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction handoff through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules aligned with owner milestones and lender requirementsOwn project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and change management processesLead subcontractor buyout, contracting, and performance managementCoordinate logistics, inspections, phased occupancy, and certificates of occupancyEnsure quality control, code compliance, accessibility standards, and contract adherenceServe as primary liaison with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and lendersLead OAC meetings and provide clear reporting on schedule, cost, risk, and project statusSupport and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Project EngineersWhat You Bring Bachelor's degree in construction management or construction science preferred7-10 years of construction experienceLarge multifamily and/or development experienceExperience with Section 3 compliance, WHEDA, LIHTC, or other government funding sources preferredField experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and ProjectStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressureClear and professional verbal and written communication skillsCompensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualificationsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverage401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysPaid parental leaveLifestyle spending account and additional voluntary benefitsCareer growth opportunities within a mission-driven, vertically integrated real estate organization that also operates multiple hotel assets in addition to its national multifamily portfolioReady to join the team?
