TMT Program Manager

Overview In this role you lead multi-disciplinary TMT programs, guiding data center and mission-critical projects from planning through commissioning. You’ll manage client relationships, coordinate global teams, and drive program governance and risk management. The position sits within HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, contributing to sustainable, resilient infrastructure and innovative digital environments. You’ll shape how HDR delivers complex programs for a growing client base while advancing the firm’s reputation in TMT markets. ResponsibilitiesLead multidisciplinary TMT programs with high technical complexity and non-technical challengesAdvise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of TMT programsPlan, direct, and monitor program execution across disciplines including planning, procurement, design management, regulatory support, and sustainabilityIdentify risks and issues, support problem-solving, and enable timely decisionsDevelop and implement program management plans, startup plans, and work plans to drive efficiency and accountabilityDirect HDR and subconsultant teams to deliver contract scope with alignment and regular communicationMonitor program performance and QA/QC, manage budgets and profitabilityGrow HDR’s program management services by expanding client relationships and pursuing new opportunitiesMentor and align project managers and resources with regional and global teamsPerform other duties as needed Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or related fieldProgram management experience with large capital programs (examples include minimums: $200M capital value in various configurations)Leadership experience building cohesive teams across locationsExcellent communication and client presentation skillsExperience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR)Familiarity with PMIS, CMIS, scheduling, cost control, document management, risk management, asset management, dashboard analyticsWillingness to travel or relocate to client sitesUS Citizenshipleadershipclear communicationclient relationship managementPMISCMISproject scheduling
