Job Summary: Are you a skilled and professional driver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? Ulrich is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team, responsible for the delivery, setup, and leveling of our high-quality shed orders. As a key member of our team, you will ensure a seamless and 5-star customer experience from start to finish. If you have a Class A CDL license or are willing to obtain one, we want to hear from you! Ulrich offers paid training to obtain your CDL license for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Contact customers to confirm order details and introduce yourself as their delivery point of contact. Communication: Keep customers informed on the status of their delivery via phone, email, and text. Timely Deliveries: Deliver customer orders on schedule and communicate any delays promptly. Installation: Install and level buildings following Ulrich procedures. Payment Collection: Collect final payments from customers. Customer Service: Ensure a 5-star experience by embodying the "Ulrich Experience" in all interactions. DOT Compliance: Adhere to all DOT regulations while operating delivery vehicles. Vehicle Maintenance: Schedule and perform regular maintenance, addressing emergency issues as needed. Qualifications: Licensing: Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record, or willingness to obtain one (Ulrich offers paid CDL training for qualified candidates). Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10-20 lbs as needed. Must be able to stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed. Experience: 2-3 years of commercial delivery vehicle operation, with shed hauling/oversize experience preferred. Customer and Team Interaction: Ability to work effectively with both customers and team members. Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive, adaptable, organized, and excellent communication. Working Conditions: Environment: Regular exposure to weather and outdoor elements. Travel: Some overnight travel may be required. Compensation and Benefits: Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 in the first year. Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off (PTO), and a 401(k) with company match. Employment Type: Full-time
