Title: Customer Service ClerkLocation: Schertz, TX 78154Contract Length: 3-6 months (with potential for permanent placement)Pay rate: $20/hr. on w2 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMMust-Have Qualifications:Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentagesAbility to create and interpret bar graphsStrong ability to read and interpret invoices, credit memos, statements, emails, and safety guidelinesAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceFamiliarity with financial statements and reportsExperience in a high-volume inbound call centerIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Strong organizational and time management skillsHigh school diploma or GEDFlexibility with work schedulesNice-to-Have QualificationsWorking knowledge of computer systems.Experience with Oracle, CCaaS, and Salesforce.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming calls and process customer orders dailyProcess wine and spirits orders in a high-volume call center environmentAssist customers with inquiries related to product sales and deliveryResolve customer service issues independently with minimal supervisionUpsell products and provide recommendations based on customer needsEnsure first-call resolution for customer inquiriesMaintain product knowledge, including pricing, discounts, and new itemsFollow established customer service practices, procedures, and guidelinesUse sound judgment and problem-solving skills to achieve objectivesEscalate issues to team leads or management when necessaryCollaborate with other departments while maintaining professionalismAssist with cash applications, collections, and customer researchAdhere to company policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experienceProven experience in a high-volume inbound call centerAbility to read and interpret business documents and communicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and percentagesAbility to analyze data and interpret graphsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructionsSkills & AbilitiesIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).Familiarity with internet navigation and document/image processing systems.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.Ability to meet deadlines and follow up on pending tasks.Reliable attendance and adherence to assigned schedules.Willingness to work flexible hours.Additional NoteThis position operates within a union environment.
