Part-Time consideration will be given.Job Summary:The Warehouse Wire Associate is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, labeling, and preparing electrical wire and cable products to meet customer specifications. This role ensures timely order fulfillment, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards within a fast-paced electrical wholesale distribution warehouse.Responsibilities:Measure, cut, and spool electrical wire and cable according to customer order specificationsOperate wire cutting machines and related warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyVerify product type, gauge, length, and labeling accuracy before order completionAccurately record wire cuts and material usage in the inventory management systemMaintain cleanliness and organization of the wire cutting areaInspect wire and cable for defects or damage prior to cutting and shipmentFollow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse proceduresAssist with cycle counts and inventory control as neededCollaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time deliveryRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, measurements)Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product specificationsAttention to detail and strong accuracy skillsAbility to operate wire cutting machinery (training provided if necessary)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong teamwork and communication skillsPreferred:Previous warehouse experienceExperience in electrical distribution or familiarity with wire and cable productsMust submit a background check and drug testingScott Electric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountTuition reimbursementPaid holidaysEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.Schedule:8-hour shiftWork Location: In person
