1-10About the RoleThe Company is seeking a Founding Executive Director to lead its mission of creating equitable access to commercial real estate careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the strategic vision and the day-to-day operations of the organization. This includes leading program growth, cultivating partnerships, and ensuring the organization is set up to scale its impact. The role demands a deep commitment to the mission, with a focus on building relationships that lead to real, lasting career change for the target audience. The Executive Director will also be accountable for strategy, operations, governance, and program delivery, and must be prepared to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in nonprofit leadership, workforce development, education, or a related field, with a proven track record in fundraising and project management. The role requires an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy. The ideal candidate will be a genuine relationship-builder, comfortable with ambiguity, and possess a high ownership mentality. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include developing and executing a strategic roadmap, leading program management, and overseeing all aspects of fundraising and partnerships. The role also involves governance, finance, and operations, as well as the development and execution of a communications and brand strategy.Travel Percent
