Convenience Store Cashier

Job Summary: We are hiring a cashier to join our team for long weekend shifts of 10 to 12 hours. This role is ideal for someone who values consistent work hours and enjoys taking ownership of their shift. Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive experience - Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately - Restock shelves and maintain cleanliness throughout the store - Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with inquiries Required Qualifications: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting - Availability for 10-12 hour weekend shifts - Dependability and punctuality are essential Preferred Qualifications: - Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus - Familiarity with handling cash or point-of-sale systems Location & Work Environment: - 11125 SE Foster Rd, Portland, OR 97266 - Weekend shifts only Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Shift: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Ability to Commute: Portland, OR 97266 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Portland, OR 97266: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
