*Employment Type:* Part time *Shift:* Day Shift *Description:* *Ultrasonographer: Samaritan Hospital**Per Diem - Coverage specifically needed on Mondays**Position Highlights:** *Quality of Life:* Where career opportunities and quality of life converge* *Advancement: *Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development*What you will do:** The acute care diagnostic cardiac sonographer performs inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms, using enhancement agents as needed.* Document completely and accurately patient data and echo exam information utilizing current information management system.*Responsibilities*:* Performs imaging as instructed* Records and consults findings as appropriate* Uphold standards and guidelines*What you will need*:* Must hold a current registration with either The American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer* Basic Life Support*Pay Rate: $40.45-$57.66*Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
