Electrical Apprentice (32189)

Position SummaryAs a successful Apprentice Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, learning, and understanding the electrical trade. You will work under the guidance of a Journeyman and Master Electrician assisting in the installation, alteration, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the commercial and industrial electrical industry. This is a safety sensitive position.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in a commercial and industrial setting.Prepares work area for installation of equipment.Installs or helps install electrical components.Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.Keeps all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly and properly working fashion and the work area clean and organized at all times.Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.Assists in wire pulls, mounting, and strapping.Understands and complies with safety requirements at all times.Produces quality of work that meets or exceeds National Electrical Code requirements and Company standards.Maintains a positive attitude towards completing job while complying with all Company policies.Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
