This is a full-cycle sales role where you will own the entire sales process from prospecting through to close.You will operate in a lean, high-accountability environment where success is driven by proactive pipeline generation, disciplined execution, and the ability to navigate high-volume outreach and rejection. While coaching and support will be provided, the expectation is that you will operate with a high degree of independence.This role reports directly on sales leadership and works cross-functionally with customer success and account management teams to drive both net-new revenue and expansion opportunities.The Role:Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across higher education and municipal marketsProactively generate pipeline through cold outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn) rather than relying solely on inbound leadsRe-engage and convert existing leads within HubSpot that have not yet been fully pursuedFollow up on and convert leads generated from industry conferences and eventsCollaborate with Customer Success and Account Management teams to identify and close expansion opportunities within existing customersMaintain disciplined pipeline management and CRM hygiene within HubSpotDeliver tailored product demonstrations to operational leaders and decision-makersPrioritize opportunities effectively across new business and expansion based on deal quality and urgencyRepresent SubItUp at relevant conferences and industry eventsQualifications for Success:35+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience with full-cycle ownership (prospecting through close)Proven ability to generate your own pipeline through outbound efforts in a low-support environmentStrong resilience and ability to handle high rejection rates with persistence and consistencyHighly organized with a structured approach to managing multiple deals and prioritizing pipelineDemonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targetsStrong communication, discovery, and consultative selling skillsComfortable operating in a smaller, fast-paced organization with limited support infrastructureNice to Have:Experience selling into higher education or municipal environmentsFamiliarity with workforce management, scheduling, or HR technologyDiversity, Equity, Inclusion & Equal Employment Opportunity at Banyan:Banyan affirms that inequality is detrimental to our Teams, associates, our Operating Companies, and the communities we serve.
