Material Handler

Material HandlerA manufacturing company is seeking a Material Handler who will be responsible for maintaining the flow of materials needed for manufacturing and distribution operations. In addition, you will support productivity by receiving, transporting, storing, issuing, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety and quality standards. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.Job Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, store materials, and place inventory in designated storage locationsUnload incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition of materialsSupply materials to production operationsDeliver raw materials, components, and supplies to work centers and production lines to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing activitiesPerform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock audits while accurately recording material movements in the ERP or inventory management systemUse forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to move materials safely while complying with company safety procedures and housekeeping standards
