Specialist I - Enrollment AHS (2026-2027 School Year)Job Status: UNTIL FILLED Posting Date: 04/01/2026 Posting Number: 013453 Location: Allen High School Position Title: Specialist I - Enrollment AHS (2026-2027 School Year) Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: PrincipalPrimary Purpose:Assist in maintaining accurate student records within the electronic database and permanent cumulative folders in an effective and efficient manner to insure all local, state, and federal education reporting requirements are met. Assure registration of new students and withdrawal of current students is a smooth, positive transition to maximize continuity in each student's education.Qualifications: Education/Certification:* High School diploma/GEDSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Working knowledge of the school, state and federal policies, rules, regulations, and laws regarding student recordsRequires knowledge of computer systems hardware and software (word processing, spreadsheet, and typing skills); must be able to do data entry with a high degree of accuracyAble to multitask and work independently to meet goals and deadlinesAbility to maintain focus with frequent interruptionsWell organized and attentive to detailsExperience:None.Major Responsibilities and Duties:Work cooperatively with central administration and campus level administration to implement student data requirements and documentation as required by Board, District, State and Federal policies and requirementsInput into computer records system accurate data and information for enrolling studentsUpdate student records with course credit and grades due to completion of credit recovery, online learning, dual credit, and summer school.Assist in maintaining student records through use of the computer system, including but not limited to grades, credits, transcripts, enrollment information, basic student information, withdrawal information and dropout dataAssist in maintaining student electronic records and cumulative folder in a secure and confidential mannerOrganize and transfer records between schools for incoming and outgoing studentsAssist other campus departments as neededCultivate and model a respectful working and learning environmentProvide effective and positive internal and external customer serviceWork and communicate effectively (verbal, non-verbal, and written) with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures or backgroundsMaintain proficiency as needed by attending trainings, reading job-related materials, and meeting with others in area of responsibilityRemain apprised of current rules and regulations by having a working knowledge of state law, Board policy and administrative proceduresPerforms other duties as the superintendent may assignSupervisory Responsibilities:None.Customer Care Skills: Mental Demands/Physical Demands:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent districtwide travel; occasional statewide travel and out-of-state travelMental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress.Salary: AS03 Days: 207 Start Date: 2026-07-13 00:00:00.000
