We’re committed to running an inclusive and accessible hiring process, if you need any adjustments or support along the way, let us know and we’ll ensure you’re set up to succeed.The RoleWe are hiring a VP, Compliance to lead the design, build, and scale of Frame’s global compliance function.This role is responsible for embedding compliance as a core product and operational capability, ensuring Frame can safely unlock high-complexity merchants while maintaining strong relationships with sponsor banks, schemes, and regulators.You will work closely with Risk, Product, GTM, Legal, and Sponsor Bank partners to ensure compliance is not a blocker, but an enabler of growth.What will you do?Own compliance across Frame. Design scalable compliance frameworks whilst working with the risk and operation teams. This spans across AML, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and regulatory obligations.Embed compliance into product and infrastructure. Partner with Product and Engineering to translate regulatory requirements into automated systems, workflows, and decisioning logic (frameOS).Own sponsor bank and regulatory relationships. Work closely with our COO and act as the primary compliance counterpart to sponsor banks and partners, ensuring alignment on policies, controls, and new use cases.Design compliance frameworks for complex verticals. Enable growth in higher-compliance industries (e.g. fintech, gaming, gambling, financial services) by building clear policies, controls, and approval pathways.Ensure card scheme and network compliance. Maintain deep alignment with Visa/Mastercard rules, monitoring requirements, and program expectations to ensure sustainable scale.Build scalable monitoring and reporting systems. Work with operations to define metrics, dashboards, and alerting frameworks across AML and compliance to support real-time and portfolio-level oversight.Drive automation and efficiency. Identify opportunities to replace manual compliance processes with rule-based, ML, or AI-driven systems.Partner with GTM and Risk on merchant lifecycle. Feed compliance insights into pre-vetting, underwriting, and in-life monitoring to improve decisioning quality and speed.Define compliance strategy and risk appetite. Set guardrails on what Frame will and will not support, aligned with sponsor banks, schemes, and long-term brand positioning.What we Require:10+ years experience in compliance, AML, or regulatory roles within payments, fintech, or financial servicesProven experience building or scaling a compliance function from scratchDeep understanding of:AML/BSA requirementsKYC/KYB frameworksTransaction monitoring and SAR processesSanctions/OFAC screeningStrong knowledge of card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard) and sponsor bank program requirementsExperience supporting high-compliance or regulated verticals (e.g. gaming, gambling, fintech, financial institutions).
