We are a sustainable and responsible business committed to continuous improvement, and our customers can trust us to provide market-leading solutions driven by insights-based clinical data.Job Summary: Fabricators manufacture, prepare and position parts, ensuring required parts are present and meet the quality standards and tolerances set in place while utilizing computer aided design (CAD) drawings and 1:1’s to verify all chair dimensions prior to weld, while following applicable work instructions and processes set in place.Key TasksMaintain fabricating equipmentAbility to distinguish between materials (aluminum or titanium)Ability to adjust feed speeds on equipment, depending on materialCheck measurements and dimensions of each piece that is being working on with digital angle finders, measuring tapes or squaresMark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate aluminum or titanium, by cutting, bending or grinding the workpieceManeuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, band saws, to bend, grind and adjust materialsMaintain a clean and safe work area and awareness of surroundingsWork as a team and maintain professionalism at all levels in the organizationSupport all quality, safety, and environmental programs.Understanding of reading CAD files and 1:1 blueprints, recognizing discrepancies and adjusting as neededSafely and proficiently operate tools and equipment needed to fabricate and assemble partsWorks on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practiceFollows established procedures on routine work, requires instruction only on new assignmentsFabricate and assemble parts according to work instructions and trainingFollow direction, procedures, and instructions for all work assignmentsDocuments actions by completing production and quality formsOther Duties And Responsibilities Are As AssignedDuties and responsibilities may change from time to timeHourly Pay Range: $18.00 – $18.50 per hourSchedule: Full‑time, 40 hours per week Why Permobil is a great next step for you!
