Mission Area Manufacturing ManagerYou will be the Mission Area Manufacturing Manager for the Fabrication Operations team. Our team is responsible for delivering high quality fabricated components for the Sensor Integration & Test Center (SITC) portfolio. What you will be doing as the mission area manager you will be responsible for leading program execution across the Fabrication Operations portfolio and serving as a senior staff member within SITC. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Direct L4 and L3 leaders and coordinate the touch workforce to meet program objectives.Manage schedule, cost, and performance metrics to ensure on time, on budget delivery.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation in fabrication processes.Provide financial and resource guidance to project teams and senior leadership.Represent SITC senior staff in cross functional forums and stakeholder meetings.Why join us? Experience with leading a team that includes individual contributors and managers. Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a workforce with a variety of technical skills, through dynamic technical, cost, and schedule challenges. Demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced environment and demonstrated ability to make decisions, delegate responsibilities, take ownership for deliverables, and execute through effective communications in both factory and leadership settings.Desired skills: The ideal candidate will have a proven record of leadership in a highly regulated precision manufacturing environment and proven ability to lead high expectation, high performing, and high morale teams. Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering degree. Experience working in a production environment. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. OLDP, MLDC, and POLI graduates. Active Secret Clearance Security Clearance.Other important information: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret.
