Please ask for Chef Malcham or any available chef on duty to complete an application. Position Overview: As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, your expertise in food preparation and kitchen procedures will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our culinary team. Compensation and Benefits: Starting at $16+ per hour, commensurate with experience Employee benefits, including Paid Time Off (PTO) and dining discounts Opportunities for growth and advancement Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling practices Essential Responsibilities: Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies Follow standardized recipes and prep lists Prepare food items efficiently and consistently during service hours Properly rotate and store food products Take direction from executive and sous chefs Maintain a clean and organized workstation Accurately stock and manage kitchen inventory Ensure timely preparation and consistent quality of dishes Exhibit a professional and team-oriented demeanor at all times Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and handling materials for extended periods Ready to take your culinary skills to the next level?
