The position involves direct collaboration with a team of NPs and PAs in a dynamic, procedure-enabled outpatient environment.Clinical ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication managementProvide psychotherapy services as part of individualized treatment plansCollaborate with and supervise NPs and PAs across clinic locationsManage primarily child and adolescent psychiatric patients with some adult overflowOption to participate in advanced treatment modalities including Ketamine infusion therapy and TMS procedures10-12 patient encounters per day with structured appointment times Appointment StructureInitial Evaluations: 60 minutes (As much time as provider needs)Follow-Up Visits: 20 minutes (As much time as provider needs) Payer MixCommercial, Private Pay, Medicare, and Medicaid REQUIREMENTSMD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in PsychiatryActive Pennsylvania medical license is a PLUSOpen to Adult Psychiatry or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry backgroundsClean malpractice and license history required ABOUT THE FACILITYThis well-established behavioral health system operates multiple outpatient clinic locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh area, including Monroeville, Meadowlands, McCanless, and Shadyside.
