Title: Business System AnalystsLocation: Weehawken New JerseyJob Type: Contract- HireLength: 6 month Only Local to NY/NJ area. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. RoleWe seek a Business System Analysts / Cash Equities in Weehawken, NJ to perform front to back business analysis/project management duties across the equities cash front and middle office trading technology suite.Analyze business client needs and draft business proposal and IT impact analysis documents.Identify user requirements by working with a number of key individuals from the business and IT, producing high-level business requirements and liaising with development to take these through to a detailed functional specification.Provide business analysis and project management on projects impacting various flows including but not limited to Direct Market Access, Algorithmic Trading, Program Trading and single stock worked. Coordinate and conduct testing with Quality Assurance team for key business projects involving testing of Front to back flows and applications and help to analyze issues with applications and/or trade messaging using Fix protocol.Design strategic solutions for new business initiatives.Identify user requirements by working with a number of key individuals from the business and IT, producing high-level business requirements and liaising with development to take these through to a detailed functional specification.Manage business testing through the quality assurance team for key projects.Investigate and deliver strategic solutions for issues with Electronic Blue Sheets.Manage project to move US and Mexico to a T+2 settlement cycle, including tracking progress and providing status updates to front and back office.SkillsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field must five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation:Working with cash equities and FX derivatives;Managing projects that span change in multiple front-office systems and teams;Investigating and delivering strategic solutions for issues with Electronic Blue Sheets;Working with cash trading and post trade;Working with regulatory initiatives;Translating business requirements into technical specifications and delivering working results;Working with US equity cash markets and regulations;Utilizing tools such as FIX protocol 4.4, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, RedHat Linux 7.0, Unix, Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise, and MS Office Tools. *LI-N
