Junior Estimator

Job description We are seeking candidates for an entry-level / Junior Estimator position to join our growing team. Someone who thrives on complex projects, understands construction workflows, and takes pride in producing accurate, professional, and competitive estimates. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for custom window, door, and glazing scopes. This role works closely with Sales, Project Management, and Operations to ensure scopes are complete, pricing is aligned with company targets, and proposals are clear and professional. Key Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform material takeoffs for windows, doors, glass, hardware, and installation Price custom assemblies including aluminum, steel, glass, and specialty systems Develop detailed estimates for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects Coordinate with Sales to clarify scope, alternates, and value-engineering options Work with Operations to validate labor assumptions and installation methodology Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing as needed Identify scope gaps, risk items, and constructability considerations Prepare clear, professional proposals and bid packages Maintain estimating templates, pricing matrices, and cost databases Pay: From $45,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
