SUMMER WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated, reliable individual for a temporary summer position to support our warehouse operations. This role is ideal for students or those seeking seasonal work who enjoy a fast-paced, active environment. You will assist with inventory movement, basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment, order receiving, and maintaining a clean, safe facility during our peak summer season.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & Unloading: Assist in unloading delivery trucks and verifying that incoming stock matches purchase orders.Inventory Organization: Sort, label, and restock materials to ensure the warehouse remains organized and efficient.Equipment Maintenance: Assisting with minor repairs, cleaning and maintenance of vehicles, tools and small equipmentWarehouse Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas clear of debris to prevent hazards and follow all safety protocols, especially regarding heat safety and proper lifting.Requirements & QualificationsPhysical Ability: Must be able to stand and walk for full shifts (typically 8 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance is critical for our team-based environment.Communication: Ability to read work orders and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.Education: High school diploma or equivalent (current students 18+ are encouraged to apply).Safety Mindset: Willingness to follow all OSHA and company-specific safety guidelines.
