Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Submission Requirements At least 2 years of previous Stepdown experience [required] First time travelers accepted! 1:4-5 patient ratio Must have EPIC experience [required] PROFILE REQUIREMENTS: Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Stepdown / Progressive Care experience [required] Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Stepdown / Progressive Care) – [required] Nursy’s must state Active Illinois license at time of submission – [required] [document] Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred] Driver’s License [document] [required] AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS – [required] AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS – [required] Certification Requirements ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) State License Requirements Illinois Iowa Compact Allowed Additional License Requirements IL RN license must be active at time of submission. IA RN license also required. If IA license is NOT active, traveler MUST show proof of application for IA single state license or compact RN license as a part of compliance packet.
