Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon ??? Call Coverage Near Richmond, Utah We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment providing 24-hour call coverage. This role is ideal for a Board Certified or Board Eligible surgeon looking to contribute their expertise during specific coverage periods. Position Overview Coverage Dates: October 13???19, 2025 December 29, 2025 ??? January 4, 2026 Schedule: 24-hour call only (no clinic duties) Average Patient Volume: ~5 cases per day Duration: Intermittent dates across 4 months EMR: Meditech Support Team: 1 APP, 1 MA, 1 MOS, and 1 RN Key Responsibilities Provide on-call surgical coverage for cardiothoracic cases Manage both emergency and urgent surgical needs Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary care team Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Utah medical license and Utah DEA Prior experience performing heart surgeries (facility historically handles up to 110 hearts annually) Availability for all listed coverage dates Why This Opportunity?
